Lets get Arty

When I am not sewing I like to draw using felt tip pens. I thought I would show you some of them. Most of these were drawn whilst I was first living in London, Living in our no star accommodation the "Abercorn House". (the stories I could tell but I wont but let me just say "There was good times, there were bad times"). And in between those times I drew whilst squashed in our small room shared by 4 girls. Hope you like them.

Mini Cakes

I have been busy making mini cup cakes, they are just as good only smaller. It is a bit harder to make things now, between feeds and nappy changes but when I get a chance I will keep making them. I would like to start selling them but for now my house is decorated with various felt foods and toys.

Lots of flavours, blueberry, carrot, banana, strawberry and a few others for fun.

Button's

I love a good second hand and charity shop, I found these great vintage button's at my local Vinnie's shop. I am still deciding what to make with them, I am thinking some broaches or a ring even or a pendant. I have so many ideas for them, but either way I love them and not bad for $5

Arcade Fire "Rococo"

The Arcade Fire have been a favourite band of mine for a while now. Whilst living in London I saw them 3 times including at Glastonbury, when I came back to Oz I just missed out on tickets to see them again. I love the new album and this is one of my favourite songs on it. Cant wait to see them when hopefully they come back out, could have if I was back in the UK. oh well
